"Soyrizo" Breakfast Burrito

Are you craving a healthy alternative to that delicious chorizo breakfast burrito? Look no further! This super simple recipe allows you to give into that craving while still meeting your health goals.



  • 2 oz. Soyrizo

  • 6 tbsp. egg whites

  • 1/2 oz. mozzarella cheese

  • 1 flour tortilla


  1. Spray pan with non-stick spray.

  2. Squeeze soyrizo out of tubing (unlike pork chorizo, the casing is not edible) and into pan.

  3. Sauté until brown (cooking the soyrizo quickly will keep it moist; cooking it longer will make the texture dry and crumbly). Remove soyrizo from pan, set aside.

  4. Add egg whites to pan and cook. (Note: you can also cook soyrizo until almost brown, then add egg whites and cook together.)

  5. Add soyrizo, egg whites, and cheese to tortilla. Fold ends over and roll into a burrito.

  6. Enjoy!
