Breakfast Biscuits

Perfectly balanced, these yummy breakfast biscuits are a great "on-the-go" meal for busy mornings!



  • 16 oz turkey sausage

  • 1 c onion, chopped

  • 1 c green peppers, chopped

  • 3 c flour

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp pepper

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • 12 eggs

  • 2 c cheddar cheese, shredded


Preheat oven to 425. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  1. Heat olive oil (and garlic, if desired) in skillet. Add onions and green peppers, saute for 1-2 minutes. Add turkey sausage, cook. Take off heat and let cool.

  2. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder in a bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Stir in 1 c of cheese. Add flour mixture to eggs and cheese until fully combined, mixing well.

  4. Add cooled sausage mixture and mix to combine.

  5. Scoop 1/2 c of mixture onto parchment paper, making sure to leave enough space as biscuits will slightly spread out.

  6. Top biscuits with remaining cheese. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, or until top is golden brown.

  7. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Biscuits can be toasted when you're ready for a yummy, quick meal.
