BBQ Chicken

This BBQ chicken is easy, delicious, and super quick to prep ahead of time or after a long day where you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Just let the BBQ sauce do the work, and prepare in the oven or on the grill! Complement your chicken with air-fried sweet potato fries and steamed broccoli (or any other green vegetable) - and you have a well-balanced and nutritious meal everyone is sure to love!

RECIPE:

Ingredients:*

  • 4 oz chicken of choice

  • 2 tbsp. BBQ Sauce

  • 4 oz air fried sweet potato fries

  • 2 c. steamed broccoli

Instructions:

  1. If you have some extra time, mix chicken and BBQ sauce the day before and let marinate overnight.

  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F if baking, or turn on BBQ if grilling.

  3. Combine chicken and BBQ sauce.

  4. If baking in the oven, bake for 35 minutes (or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F). If grilling, place on BBQ and grill for 5 minutes on each side.

  5. Place sweet potato fries in air fryer and cook according to air fryer settings (I cook mine for 12 minutes on each side).

  6. Wash and cut broccoli. Toss with 1 tbsp. olive oil and desired spices. Cook as desired (steam for 5 - 7 minutes, oven-roast with chicken for 15 minutes, or wrap in foil and grill on BBQ for 8 minutes)

  7. Enjoy!
